The Serengeti SafarisNomad Mobile in the Serengeti

A selection of fully backed up safaris hosted by professional guides to cover Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara plus the best of the Serengeti.

These trips are especially supported by us...they get our clients out of lodges and into the real Serengeti and they're suited to those on top-end and modest budgets.

  • Our greater Serengeti Safari    offers a totally flexible and very private approach to safaris in the greater Serengeti, Loliondo and Tarangire.  This is a fly-in safari using semi-permanent and seasonal camps to take best advantage of changing seasons and game conditions through the year.
  • The Serengeti Mobile Safaris: semi-nomadic mobile camps, the 12 bed "traditional mobile" and the smaller and more exclusive "wilderness mobile" safari available on a shared or exclusive basis.
  • We offer "authentic" Serengeti Camping Safaris and "adventure grade" camping safaris any day of the year.  These are 6 and 7 day safaris, moderately priced and well suited to those wanting adventure, great guides and fewer crowds.

If you're after the migration in Tanzania then these safaris do the event proper justice - plan based on our migration guidelines or contact us for available dates this coming season.

Accommodation includes large mosquito nets with bedrolls, shared bathrooms with bucket showers.

Game viewing highlights include large herds of zebra, wildebeest and buffalo plus hippos and crocs on the rivers and lakes, good elephant sightings and great birding.  Ask for full details on our Selous Walking Safari every July to October.
